Taxes and fees at Melbourne hotels

At the 11 hotels with both an all-in and a before-tax going rate, taxes and fees, as the booking sites reported them to Google Hotels, added a median of 11% ($11 a night) to the before-tax going rate: from 10% at Brady Apartment Hotel Flinders Street to 12% at Batman's Hill on Collins. At 7 hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so their prices are listed prices that may leave out resort or property fees. Our data does not split the gap into taxes and fees.
