Which booking site was cheapest for Venice hotels?

The study's count, before taxes and fees: in the September 29, 2026 snapshot, at 14 of the 18 Venice hotels with a price, the cheapest listing was 5% or more below the going rate. The cheapest site there: Vio.com at 5, Billabook.com at 1, Booking.com at 1, Evendo at 1, Goibibo.com at 1, Priceline at 1, Stayforlong.com at 1, Super.com at 1 and 2 other sites at 2 between them. These are the Venice rows of the study's per-hotel CSV (going_rate_usd and cheapest_usd, before taxes and fees).

On this page, all-in: with taxes and fees included as the sites reported them, at 15 of the 17 hotels listed below a site was 5% or more below the all-in going rate. The cheapest site there: Vio.com at 4, Etrip.net at 3, Super.com at 3, Billabook.com at 1, Booking.com at 1, Evendo at 1, Goibibo.com at 1, goseek.com at 1 and 5 other sites at 5 between them (a tie counts for each site). At the other 2, no site was 5% or more below it. The two counts differ: at 1 of the hotels listed below, the all-in prices put the gap on the other side of the 5% line, and the study also counts the 1 named below that are not listed on this page. Taxes and fees at Venice hotels

At the 11 hotels with both an all-in and a before-tax going rate, taxes and fees, as the booking sites reported them to Google Hotels, added a median of 15% ($18 a night) to the before-tax going rate: from 10% at Rialto Unique Venice Experience to 18% at Hotel Cavalletto & Doge Orseolo. At 6 hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so their prices are listed prices that may leave out resort or property fees. Our data does not split the gap into taxes and fees.
