Which booking site was cheapest for Milan hotels?
The study's count, before taxes and fees: in the September 29, 2026 snapshot, at 9 of the 15 Milan hotels with a price, the cheapest listing was 5% or more below the going rate. The cheapest site there: Booking.com at 4, the hotel's own site at 2, Agoda at 1, Billabook.com at 1 and Vio.com at 1. These are the Milan rows of the study's per-hotel CSV (going_rate_usd and cheapest_usd, before taxes and fees).
On this page, all-in: with taxes and fees included as the sites reported them, at 10 of the 14 hotels listed below a site was 5% or more below the all-in going rate. Taxes and fees at Milan hotels
At the 8 hotels with both an all-in and a before-tax going rate, taxes and fees, as the booking sites reported them to Google Hotels, added a median of 15% ($19 a night) to the before-tax going rate: from 9% at Babila Hostel & Bistrot to 30% at My Guest Milan Suite. At 6 hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so their prices are listed prices that may leave out resort or property fees. Our data does not split the gap into taxes and fees.
