Taxes and fees at San Diego hotels

At the 11 hotels with both an all-in and a before-tax going rate, taxes and fees, as the booking sites reported them to Google Hotels, added a median of 15% ($23 a night) to the before-tax going rate: from 14% at Hilton San Diego/Del Mar to 16% at Palihotel San Diego. At 4 hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so their prices are listed prices that may leave out resort or property fees. Our data does not split the gap into taxes and fees.
