Orlando hotel prices: what 15 hotels cost, measured Sep 25, 2026

On September 25, 2026, the median all-in price of a Orlando hotel in our snapshot was $145 a night, for Oct 30 to Nov 1 with 2 adults: the middle of the going rates at the 12 hotels whose sites reported taxes and fees, which ran from $71 to $243.

These are the 15 hotels Google Hotels returned for our search for hotels in Orlando, each priced on every booking site it listed (60 sites in all), on one date: not every hotel in Orlando, and prices change daily. Among the 25 cities we priced on September 25, 2026 for the same stay, Orlando's median was the 8th lowest. At 3 more hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so we have listed prices only ($120 to $235 a night), which may leave out taxes or fees; they are left out of the all-in figures.

By their names, 7 of the 15 are near Universal or SeaWorld. None names Disney, Lake Buena Vista or Kissimmee.

What Orlando hotels cost, by star class

On September 25, 2026, the median all-in going rate by Google Hotels' star class: 4-star hotels $139 (8 hotels); 3-star hotels $146 (4 hotels). Per night, for Oct 30 to Nov 1. With this few hotels per class, one hotel moves a median a lot. The going rate is the price the largest number of listings that named a room or offered free cancellation agreed on (ties go to the lower price).

The table counts hotels with all-in prices only; the 3 hotels with a listed price only are in the list below it, marked "listed".

Taxes, fees and resort fees in Orlando

On September 25, 2026, taxes and fees added a median of 12.6% ($16 a night) to the before-tax going rate of a Orlando hotel, as the booking sites reported them to Google Hotels. At all 12 hotels with both prices the all-in going rate was 12.0% to 13.4% above the before-tax going rate: close to the same share at a $71 hotel and a $243 one. A flat nightly fee added on top of the before-tax price would be a larger share of a cheaper room, so at these 12 hotels the listings show no such fee added on top; whether a resort fee was already inside the before-tax price, our data cannot tell.

At 3 hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so their listed prices may leave out resort or property fees: Staybridge Suites Orlando at Seaworld by IHG, Hilton Garden Inn Orlando I-4 Millenia Blvd Mall and Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®.

How often a site was 5% or more below the going rate

On September 25, 2026, at 13 of the 15 Orlando hotels a site's price was 5% or more below the hotel's going rate, by a median of 19% ($27 a night). The study's own count, before taxes and fees, from its per-hotel CSV: 13 of the 15 Orlando hotels with a price.

A lower price is not always the same deal: it can be a smaller room, a non-refundable rate, or a listing that names no room. Each hotel's page shows which sites named a room.

Which booking sites were lowest most often in Orlando

On September 25, 2026, at the 13 hotels where a site was 5% or more below the going rate, the lowest all-in price was on Super.com at 6, KAYAK.com at 3, Etrip.net at 2, Hotels In America at 2, Hotelscombined.com at 2, Vio.com at 2, goseek.com at 1, Kiwi.com at 1 and 1 other site at 1 between them (a tie counts for each site). By the study's before-tax count, the cheapest site there: Super.com at 6, Hotels In America at 2, KAYAK.com at 2, Vio.com at 2 and Reservation Day at 1.

That is one date and one stay; for your dates another site may have the lowest price. Across every city we priced: the cheapest site to book hotels, measured.

Free cancellation at Orlando hotels

On September 25, 2026, at 10 of the 15 hotels at least one site showed Google's free-cancellation label on its lowest listing; at 0 of them the lowest price itself carried it. At the other 10, the lowest price with free cancellation was a median of $17 a night (11%) above the lowest price.

The label is what the listing showed on Google Hotels; read the cancellation terms on the booking page. When it is worth paying for: is free cancellation worth it?

The hotels with the biggest gaps between sites

On September 25, 2026, these Orlando hotels had the widest gap between the lowest and the highest site, per night (all-in where the sites reported taxes and fees, else listed prices):

The highest price is often a different room or rate, so the gap shows how far apart listings were, not a saving. The snapshot kept up to 28 listings per hotel, so higher prices may be missing.

When to book: what our data can and cannot say

Our Orlando prices come from snapshots taken on a few dates, so they cannot tell you the cheapest month to stay in Orlando, or how far ahead to book. They show one stay on one date, every booking site side by side.

What we can show is how the going rate of the same stay moved in one week. In the study's week-later repeats we priced the same stay at the same Orlando hotels twice, 7 days apart (the hotels of the first snapshot of each pair, so not always the hotels above); "up" and "down" count hotels whose before-tax going rate moved more than 2%.

One week of one stay: prices moved both ways, which is not a rule for when to book. Source: hotel-price-week-later-2026-09.csv and hotel-price-week-later-r2-2026-10.csv.

What we found across all cities: do hotel prices drop closer to the date? and how far in advance to book a hotel. If you book a refundable rate, a price drop alert tells you if the price falls later.

At all 12 hotels with both prices the all-in going rate was 12.0% to 13.4% above the before-tax going rate: close to the same share at a $71 hotel and a $243 one. No. Our Orlando prices come from snapshots on a few dates, so they cannot tell you the cheapest month to stay in Orlando or how far ahead to book. What they do show is one week of movement for the same stay: for Oct 13 to Oct 15, between Sep 22 and Sep 29, the going rate rose more than 2% at 4 and fell more than 2% at 3 of 8 hotels; for Oct 30 to Nov 1, between Sep 25 and Oct 2, the going rate rose more than 2% at 5 and fell more than 2% at 5 of 15 hotels.

How we measured this

One snapshot on September 25, 2026 for Oct 30 to Nov 1, 2 adults, US market, USD. Prices change daily. We searched Google Hotels for hotels in Orlando and priced the same stay at each hotel it returned, on every booking site it listed, in US dollars as a US visitor sees them. Each hotel's page has every site's price; the study's per-hotel CSV has the before-tax figures. Method: the hotel price dispersion study.
