Paris hotel prices: what 18 hotels cost, measured Sep 25, 2026
On September 25, 2026, the median all-in price of a Paris hotel in our snapshot was $105 a night, for Oct 30 to Nov 1 with 2 adults: the middle of the going rates at the 16 hotels whose sites reported taxes and fees, which ran from $83 to $246.
These are the 18 hotels Google Hotels returned for our search for hotels in Paris, each priced on every booking site it listed (58 sites in all), on one date: not every hotel in Paris, and prices change daily. Among the 25 cities we priced on September 25, 2026 for the same stay, Paris's median was tied for the 2nd lowest. At 2 more hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so we have listed prices only ($79 to $159 a night), which may leave out taxes or fees; they are left out of the all-in figures.
Our search was "hotels in Paris". By their names, 5 of the 18 are at one of the Portes on the edge of the city and 5 are in La Defense, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Boulogne or Clichy, outside the city limits. So the median is the price of this mix, which leans to the edge of Paris and its suburbs.

What Paris hotels cost, by star class
On September 25, 2026, the median all-in going rate by Google Hotels' star class: 4-star hotels $130 (4 hotels); 3-star hotels $104 (8 hotels); 1- and 2-star hotels $100 (1 hotel); No star class listed $85 (3 hotels). Taxes and fees in Paris
On September 25, 2026, taxes and fees added a median of 24.2% ($21 a night) to the before-tax going rate of a Paris hotel, as the booking sites reported them to Google Hotels. Across the 16 hotels with both prices it ranged from 7.6% to 31.5%, from Generator Paris to TRIBE Paris La Défense Esplanade. Our data does not split the gap into taxes and fees, so it cannot say which part, if any, was a resort or destination fee.
At 2 hotels no site reported a before-tax price, so their listed prices may leave out resort or property fees: MEININGER Hotel Paris Porte de Vincennes and Hôtel Mercure Paris Boulogne.

How often a site was 5% or more below the going rate

On September 25, 2026, at the 15 hotels where a site was 5% or more below the going rate, the lowest all-in price was on Billabook.com at 5, Super.com at 4, Agoda at 3, Amimir.com at 1, Etrip.net at 1, goseek.com at 1, Pilot at 1, the hotel's own site at 1 and 2 other sites at 2 between them (a tie counts for each site). By the study's before-tax count, the cheapest site there: Agoda at 3, Super.com at 3, Vio.com at 3, Amimir.com at 1, Billabook.com at 1, Booking.com at 1, Priceline at 1, the hotel's own site at 1 and 1 other site at 1 between them.

Free cancellation at Paris hotels
On September 25, 2026, at 7 of the 18 hotels at least one site showed Google's free-cancellation label on its lowest listing; at 1 of them the lowest price itself carried it. At the other 6, the lowest price with free cancellation was a median of $17 a night (19%) above the lowest price.

The hotels with the biggest gaps between sites
On September 25, 2026, these Paris hotels had the widest gap between the lowest and the highest site, per night (all-in where the sites reported taxes and fees, else listed prices):
- The People Belleville: $79 on the hotel's own site and Tripadvisor.com to $188 on Reserving, 138% above the lowest (22 sites).
- Glint Paris: $83 on Booking.com to $194 on Clicktrip.com, 134% above the lowest (8 sites).
- MEININGER Hotel Paris Porte de Vincennes: $76 on the hotel's own site to $161 on Agoda, 112% above the lowest (10 sites).
- Generator Paris: $84 on Booking.com and the hotel's own site to $155 on Trip.com, Bluepillow.com and Reserving, 85% above the lowest (14 sites).
- B&B HOTEL Paris Porte des Lilas: $88 on Super.com to $149 on Hotel prive, 69% above the lowest (18 sites).
The highest price is often a different room or rate, so the gap shows how far apart listings were, not a saving.

When to book: what our data can and cannot say
Our Paris prices come from snapshots taken on a few dates, so they cannot tell you the cheapest month to stay in Paris, or how far ahead to book. They show one stay on one date, every booking site side by side.
What we can show is how the going rate of the same stay moved in one week. In the study's week-later repeats we priced the same stay at the same Paris hotels twice, 7 days apart (the hotels of the first snapshot of each pair, so not always the hotels above); "up" and "down" count hotels whose before-tax going rate moved more than 2%.
