Why is Super.com so cheap?
The price held. The room and the terms are the catch.
Its prices held when we opened them, but they come without two things most higher listings carry: in our 16 price snapshots of September 25 to October 10, 2026, Super.com had the lowest price at 1,299 of 6,620 hotel prices, more than any other site, and its listing named the room at none of them. Google's free-cancellation label showed on none of its listings at the 3,740 hotels where it was listed.
To see whether Super.com is lower for your exact hotel and dates, Underbook's free hotel price checker shows the price each booking site lists on Google Hotels for that hotel and dates, and whether a lower listing names the same room: https://underbook.co/hotel-price-checker.

Super.com in our price data
In our 16 price snapshots of September 25 to October 10, 2026 we recorded every booking site's price that Google Hotels showed at 6,620 hotels. Super.com had the lowest price at 1,299; 1,224 of those were 5% or more below the going rate (the price most sites agreed on), typically 18% below.
| Site | Listed at | Lowest at | Room named | Free-cancellation label |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Super.com | 3,740 | 1,299 | 0 | 0% |
| Vio.com | 3,774 | 601 | 109 | 26% |
| Booking.com | 5,978 | 413 | 350 | 34% |
Against Booking.com at the same hotels, compared like with like (1,902 hotels), Super.com was more than 2% lower at 697 of 1,902 (37%), Booking.com at 478 of 1,902 (25%), and the two were within $2 at 664 of 1,902 (35%). Where Super.com was lower, Booking.com's listing named the room at 603 of the 697 and carried Google's free-cancellation label at 243; Super.com's listing did either at 0.
At 1,218 more hotels one price sat near the before-tax going rate and the other near the all-in one, Super.com's the before-tax-looking one at 1,188; those are left out of the comparison above.
Like with like: before tax against before tax and all-in against all-in. A price's basis is inferred from the hotel's two going rates (one nearer the before-tax going rate counts as before tax), only where taxes added 10% or more; a genuinely lower all-in price can sit there too, so the hotels where the two prices looked different are left out, not counted for either site. Hotels whose taxes added 2 to 10% are left out because no price's basis can be read there. Each snapshot: the lowest public price each booking site listed on Google Hotels for a US searcher, in US dollars, for a two-night stay, at one moment; not completed bookings, and not member or signed-in prices. A hotel priced in more than one snapshot counts once per snapshot. Method, charts and the per-hotel CSVs: the hotel price study.
Is the price real?
When we opened 5 live Super.com offers in a real browser on September 30, 2026, all 5 showed the price we had, to the dollar, with a total including taxes and fees. Offers come and go: of four Super.com offers from study data two hours old, three were no longer offered when we looked.
So the number is what you would pay. What the listing does not tell you is which room it buys and whether you can cancel. If the room is a smaller one, or the rate cannot be cancelled, part of the gap pays for that; our data cannot say how often that is so, because the listing names no room.
Who runs it: the terms of Hotels In America, a second storefront of Super.com, name Snapcommerce, Inc. (Super.com) in Toronto (as we read them on October 1, 2026). Super.com's own terms and help pages answered our requests on October 23, 2026 with an error (HTTP 403), so this page does not say where its rates come from. More: is Super.com legit?
How to check a Super.com price before you book
- Open the room on Super.com and compare its name and bed type with the room you would book on the hotel's own site.
- Read the cancellation line on its final booking screen. In our data none of its listings carried a free-cancellation label.
- Compare totals with taxes and fees, and look for the resort fee if the hotel charges one: a lower total may leave it for the desk.
- Decide what the gap buys: a firm, fixed stay can take a lower price with stricter terms; a stay that might move usually should not.
Checking your own stay
Underbook is a free browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and a free web price checker. For a hotel and dates it shows the price each booking site lists on Google Hotels, all-in where the sites report taxes and fees (a resort or destination fee may be extra), and says whether a lower listing names the same room or needs a check before you book. You always book on the site you choose. For a hotel where Super.com is lower, it says whether that listing names the room.
Super.com prices: common questions
Why is Super.com so cheap?
Its prices are real, but in our data they came without a named room and without a free-cancellation label: in our 16 price snapshots of September 25 to October 10, 2026, Super.com had the lowest price at 1,299 of 6,620 hotel prices and named the room at none, and none of its listings at 3,740 hotels carried Google's free-cancellation label. Super.com's own pages did not answer our requests, so we do not say where its rates come from.
Is the Super.com price real?
In our check, yes: 5 of 5 live Super.com offers opened on September 30, 2026 showed the price we had, to the dollar, with a total including taxes and fees. Offers change quickly, so check the total on its page.
Is Super.com cheaper than Booking.com?
Often, not always. Compared like with like at 1,902 hotels, Super.com was more than 2% lower at 697 (37%) and Booking.com at 478 (25%). Where Super.com was lower, Booking.com's listing named the room at 603 of 697; Super.com's at none.
Can I cancel a Super.com booking?
Read the cancellation line on its final booking screen before you pay. In our data none of its listings carried Google's free-cancellation label, so plan as if the rate is non-refundable unless the page says otherwise.
Is Super.com legit?
Yes, it is a real company and its prices held when we opened them. The catches are the room, which its listings do not name, and the cancellation terms. Our page on whether Super.com is legit has the details.
