Honest review
Billabook is a lesser-known website whose hotel prices show up on Google Hotels, often below the big booking sites, under the banner "wholesale rates for everyone". In our own data it was the cheapest site for 67 hotel prices, most of them in the US and the rest of the Americas. But those cheapest listings never named the room, and its Trustpilot score is 2.7 out of 5. Here is what we measured and how to check a Billabook price before you pay.

Measured, September 2026
Across 9 snapshots taken between September 22 and September 29, 2026, we recorded every booking site's price that Google Hotels showed for the same two-night stay, 3,753 hotel prices in 199 cities. At 2,760 of them some site was 5% or more below the rate most sites agreed on. Billabook was the cheapest site at 56 of those 2,760, tenth overall and typically 25% below the going rate. Most of its wins were in the Americas: 23 in the US and 21 elsewhere in the Americas (Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada), with 9 in Europe and 3 elsewhere.
The catch: across all 67 times Billabook had the lowest price (including near-ties), its listing named the room 0 times. When Agoda was cheapest it named the room at 147 of 232 hotels; Booking.com at 159 of 211. A price with no room attached may be for the smallest or a non-refundable room, and you cannot tell from the listing. 28 of Billabook's 67 cheapest prices were at independent hotels, the rest at chains.

Underbook (built by us) is a free Chrome extension that does the first two for you while you shop. On a hotel page it shows other booking sites' prices for the same hotel and dates side by side, and says whether a cheaper listing names the same room or needs a check before you book. We earn nothing from Billabook.
Billabook is a real website that lists hotel prices on Google Hotels next to Booking.com and Agoda. Its own site names the operator as TRIPROL LTD and sells itself as wholesale hotel rates for everyone. Its Trustpilot profile had a TrustScore of 2.7 out of 5 from 415 reviews when we read it in September 2026. Treat a low Billabook price as a lead to check, not a sure saving: in our data its cheapest hotel listings never named the room, and its terms say non-refundable bookings cannot be changed or cancelled.
In our September 2026 price snapshots Billabook was the cheapest site at 56 hotels where some site was 5% or more below the going rate, typically 25% below: 23 in the US, 21 elsewhere in the Americas, 9 in Europe and 3 elsewhere. At none of the 67 times it had the lowest price did its listing name the room, so you cannot tell from the listing whether it is the same room other sites are pricing.
Check who takes your payment and who you would contact to change or cancel, compare the room name and the all-in total with the hotel's own site, and read the cancellation terms. After booking, call the hotel with your confirmation number, well before you travel.
