Honest review
Is Amimir legit?
A licensed Spanish travel agency. Check the room.
Amimir.com shows up on Google Hotels now and then, often below the big booking sites. It is run by Viajes Para Ti, S.L.U., a travel agency in Reus, Spain, and in our own data it was the cheapest site for 32 hotel prices, 31 of them at least 5% below the going rate. But those cheapest listings never named the room. Here is what we measured and how to check an Amimir price before you pay.
We have no affiliate relationship with Amimir. Underbook (built by us) leads with the lowest price it finds, whoever lists it, and says whether it names your room.
The verdict, in plain terms
A real booking site with a named, licensed operator. Treat its low price as a lead to check: the listing does not say which room it is.
What is true in its favor
- Its prices appear on Google Hotels next to the major booking sites
- Its site names the operator: Viajes Para Ti, S.L.U., Reus (Tarragona), Spain, registered in Catalonia's tourism register (licence GC 169 MD)
- Low when it shows up: the cheapest site at 31 hotels 5%+ below the going rate in our data, typically 14% below
Why you should be careful
- Its cheapest listings named the room 0 times out of 32
- Its conditions: it acts as an intermediary and does not take on the risk of the bookings made through it
- Cancellation costs are set per offer and listed on your confirmation voucher, so read them before you pay
- A small seller in our data: cheapest at 31 of 4,512 hotels with a 5%+ gap, so most of the time another site is lower

How often Amimir is the cheapest hotel listing, and what its price leaves out
Across 15 snapshots taken between September 22 and October 1, 2026, we recorded every booking site's price that Google Hotels showed for the same two-night stay, 6,254 hotel prices in 348 cities. At 4,512 of them some site was 5% or more below the rate most sites agreed on. Amimir.com was the cheapest site at 31 of those 4,512, sixteenth overall and typically 14% below the going rate: 17 in Europe, 5 in the US and 9 elsewhere.
The catch: across all 32 times Amimir.com had the lowest price, its listing named the room 0 times. When Agoda was cheapest it named the room at 264 of 380 hotels; Booking.com at 320 of 396; Vio.com at 99 of 538. A price with no room attached may be for the smallest or a non-refundable room, and you cannot tell from the listing. 22 of Amimir's 32 cheapest prices were at independent hotels, the rest at chains.
These are before-tax prices from one moment in each snapshot, not completed bookings. Method and the CSVs are on our hotel price study.
Before you book an Amimir price, check four things
- 1. The room. Open the listing and compare the room name and bed type with the room you would book on the hotel's site.
- 2. The all-in total. Compare the price after taxes and fees, in your own currency, not the headline nightly rate.
- 3. When you pay, and the cancellation terms. Amimir shows its cancellation costs during booking and on the voucher; note them, and how you would cancel. A 14% saving on a non-refundable room is a bad trade if your plans might change. See whether free cancellation is worth it.
- 4. The hotel. After booking, call the hotel with your confirmation number and check it can see the reservation, well before you travel.
Underbook (built by us) is a free browser extension that does the first two for you while you shop. On a hotel page it shows other booking sites' prices for the same hotel and dates side by side, and says whether a cheaper listing names the same room or needs a check before you book. We earn nothing from Amimir.
Amimir: common questions
Is Amimir legit?
Yes, it is a real booking site with a named company behind it. Its site says Amimir.com is a registered trademark of Viajes Para Ti, S.L.U., a travel agency in Reus (Tarragona), Spain, registered in Catalonia's tourism register. Its conditions say it acts as an intermediary between you and the room provider and does not take on the risk of the bookings made through it. Treat a low price as a lead to check: in our data its cheapest hotel listings never named the room.
Why is Amimir cheaper for some hotels?
In our price snapshots from September 22 to October 1, 2026 Amimir.com was the cheapest site at 31 hotels where some site was 5% or more below the going rate, typically 14% below: 17 in Europe, 5 in the US and 9 elsewhere. At none of the 32 times it had the lowest price (including near-ties) did its listing name the room, so you cannot tell from the listing whether it is the same room other sites are pricing.
Can I cancel an Amimir booking?
It depends on the offer. Amimir's conditions say cancellation costs are shown during the booking process and listed on your confirmation voucher, and that the terms of "free cancellation" bookings are set in each offer. Read the cancellation line before you pay, and keep the voucher.
What should I check before booking an Amimir price?
Check whether you pay now or at the hotel, compare the room name and the all-in total with the hotel's own site, and read the cancellation terms shown before you book. After booking, call the hotel with your confirmation number, well before you travel.
How do I compare an Amimir price with other sites?
Underbook is a free browser extension that shows every site's price for your hotel and dates side by side and says whether the cheaper listing names your room. You can also check a hotel on underbook.co without installing anything.
