Honest review
Kiwi.com is best known for flights, but its name also shows up on Google Hotels, often below the big booking sites. Those hotel prices come from Kiwi.com Hotels, a brand operated by FindHotel B.V., the Amsterdam company that launched Vio.com. In our own data it was the cheapest site for 40 hotel prices. But those cheapest listings never named the room. Here is what we measured and how to check a Kiwi.com hotel price before you pay.
We have no affiliate relationship with Kiwi.com. Underbook (built by us) leads with the lowest price it finds, whoever lists it, and says whether it names your room.

Measured, September 2026
Across 9 snapshots taken between September 22 and September 29, 2026, we recorded every booking site's price that Google Hotels showed for the same two-night stay, 3,753 hotel prices in 199 cities. At 2,760 of them some site was 5% or more below the rate most sites agreed on. Kiwi.com was the cheapest site at 34 of those 2,760, fourteenth overall and typically 14% below the going rate: 21 in the US, 10 in Europe and 3 elsewhere.
The catch: across all 40 times Kiwi.com had the lowest price (including near-ties), its listing named the room 0 times. When Agoda was cheapest it named the room at 147 of 232 hotels; Booking.com at 159 of 211; Vio.com, its sister brand, at 56 of 342. A price with no room attached may be for the smallest or a non-refundable room, and you cannot tell from the listing. 9 of Kiwi.com's 40 cheapest prices were at independent hotels, the rest at chains.

Yes, it is a real booking site, but it is not the Kiwi.com you may know from flights. The hotel prices listed as "Kiwi.com" on Google Hotels come from Kiwi.com Hotels, which its own privacy policy describes as a brand operated by FindHotel B.V. of Amsterdam, the company that launched Vio.com. Its terms say it acts as a facilitator of bookings and payments between you and the room provider, and that not all bookings can be cancelled. Treat a low price as a lead to check: in our data its cheapest hotel listings never named the room.
In our September 2026 price snapshots Kiwi.com was the cheapest site at 34 hotels where some site was 5% or more below the going rate, typically 14% below: 21 in the US, 10 in Europe and 3 elsewhere. At none of the 40 times it had the lowest price did its listing name the room, so you cannot tell from the listing whether it is the same room other sites are pricing.
Both are run by FindHotel B.V.: Kiwi.com Hotels' privacy policy names FindHotel B.V. as its operator, and Vio.com says it launched in 2016 as FindHotel. Kiwi.com's flight bookings are a different company, Kiwi.com s.r.o. in Prague, so reviews of Kiwi.com flights tell you little about its hotel bookings.
Check whether you pay now or at the hotel, compare the room name and the all-in total with the hotel's own site, and read the cancellation terms shown before you book. After booking, call the hotel with your confirmation number, well before you travel.
