Is goSeek legit?

goSeek describes itself as a free hotel price comparison site. Its help pages name FindHotel B.V., Amsterdam, the same company Vio.com's terms name as its operator, and in our price data the two usually showed the same price: at 1,804 of the 2,328 hotels where both were listed. Here is what we measured, and how to check a goSeek price before you pay.

The verdict, in plain terms

goSeek's help center (goseek.zendesk.com) refused our direct requests on October 2, 2026, so its company details were read through a web search limited to that help center; Vio.com's operator was read on vio.com/terms-of-use the same day. We could not read goSeek's booking terms. They can change.

The site whose price goSeek matched most often was Vio.com, and second Etrip.net, another site whose help pages name FindHotel B.V. At the 2,328 hotels where goSeek and Vio.com were both listed, goSeek showed the same price at 1,804. Where the two differed on the same tax footing, Vio.com was lower at 232 and goSeek at 115; at 177 more the two prices could not be put on the same footing. How often goSeek had the lowest price
In the 14 price snapshots of September 25 to October 1, 2026 that recorded every booking site's price, we priced the same two-night stay at 5,830 hotels in 348 cities on every site Google Hotels listed. goSeek was listed at 2,517 of them (1,314 in the US). The study recorded goSeek as the lowest price at 60 of them, 47 of those 5% or more below the going rate (typically 18% below). At a further 406 it showed the same price as the listing recorded as lowest (when two sites show the same lowest rate, the study records the one Google listed first). For comparison, some site was 5% or more below the going rate at 4,181 of the 5,830 hotels, and Super.com was recorded as the lowest most often (1,193 hotels).
Its listings carried Google's free-cancellation label at 677 of the 2,517 hotels (27%) and named a room at 1 (under 1%). A price with no room attached may be for the smallest or a non-refundable room, and you cannot tell from the listing.
These are prices from one moment in each snapshot, as Google Hotels showed them (all-in where the site reported taxes and fees, else the nightly rate), not completed bookings. Where two sites' prices differed, we say which was lower only when both were on the same tax footing (both before tax or both after), which we infer from the hotel's going rate with and without taxes, as on trivago vs Expedia. Before you book a goSeek price, check four things
- 1. Vio.com. Same company, and in our data the same price at 1,804 of 2,328 hotels listing both; where they differed on the same tax footing, Vio.com was lower at 232 and goSeek at 115.
- 2. The room. Compare the room name and bed type with the room you would book on the hotel's own site. Its listings named a room at 1 of 2,517 hotels.
- 3. The all-in total. Compare the price after taxes and fees on the final booking screen, not the nightly rate.
- 4. Who takes your payment, and the cancellation terms. Read the company name and the cancellation policy on the final booking screen before you pay. See whether free cancellation is worth it.

Is goSeek legit?
It is a real site run by a named company. Its help pages name FindHotel B.V., with its registered office in Amsterdam, as the company behind goSeek, and describe it as a free hotel price comparison site. Vio.com's own terms name the same company, FindHotel B.V., as the operator of Vio.com. Its help center refused our direct requests, so we read it through a search limited to that site, and we could not read its booking terms.
