Is Traveloka legit?
A real Singapore company. Check the room.

Yes. Traveloka is a large Southeast Asian travel booking site, and its terms say the services are provided by Traveloka Services Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. For most hotels it is an intermediary: its terms say the room is supplied by a third party and Traveloka acts as the platform between you and that supplier. Treat a low price as a lead to check: in our data its cheapest hotel listings never named the room.

Sometimes, in Asia. In our September 2026 price snapshots Traveloka was the cheapest site at 18 hotels where some site was 5% or more below the going rate, typically 19% below, all of them in Asia (Seoul 7, Bali 5, Singapore 3). Across 3,753 hotel prices in 199 cities that is a small share: most of the time another site was lower. At none of the 19 times it had the lowest price did its listing name the room.

It depends on the room. Traveloka's terms say each booking follows its product terms, including the change, cancellation, refund and no-show policies set by the hotel or supplier, and that confirming the booking means you accept them. Read the cancellation line on the room before you pay.

Check the room name and bed type against the hotel's own site, compare the all-in total in your own currency, and read the cancellation terms shown before you book. After booking, contact the hotel with your confirmation number well before you travel.
