Honest review

Is Clicktrip legit?
A real Danish company. Check the room and the fees.

Clicktrip (clicktrip.com) is a hotel booking site founded in Denmark in 2021, and its prices show up on Google Hotels under the name "Clicktrip.com" next to Expedia and Booking.com. Its Impressum names Fundamental Holiday A/S, of Copenhagen, as the company behind it. In our own data it was the cheapest site for 35 hotel prices, mostly at independent hotels in the US. But those cheapest listings never named the room. Here is what we measured and how to check a Clicktrip price before you pay.

We have no affiliate relationship with Clicktrip. Underbook (built by us) leads with the lowest price it finds, whoever lists it, and says whether it names your room.

The verdict, in plain terms

A real booking site with a named company behind it. Treat its low price as a lead to check: the listing does not say which room it is, and its terms leave some fees out.

What is true in its favor

  • Its prices appear on Google Hotels next to the major booking sites
  • Its Impressum names the company: Fundamental Holiday A/S, registered in Copenhagen, Danish tax number DK41903406
  • Sometimes the lowest: the cheapest site at 27 hotels 5%+ below the going rate in our data, typically 16% below

Why you should be careful

  • Its cheapest listings named the room 0 times out of 35
  • Its terms: bookings are final and not refundable unless the room's own cancellation policy says otherwise
  • Its terms: resort, parking and other check-out fees are not in the rate, local tourist taxes are paid at the hotel, and a transaction charge can apply to non-EU cards
  • No hotel loyalty points: its terms say bookings are not eligible for hotel reward programs

How often Clicktrip is the cheapest hotel listing, and what its price leaves out

Across 15 snapshots taken between September 22 and October 1, 2026, we recorded every booking site's price that Google Hotels showed for the same two-night stay, 6,254 hotel prices in 348 cities. At 4,512 of them some site was 5% or more below the rate most sites agreed on. Clicktrip was the cheapest site at 27 of those 4,512, seventeenth overall and typically 16% below the going rate: 17 in the US, 5 in Europe, 3 in Asia-Pacific.

The pattern: 29 of the 35 times Clicktrip had the lowest price were at independent hotels, and its largest gaps were big: 55% below the going rate at The Lauderdale Boutique Hotel (Fort Lauderdale) and 48% at Compass Cove Myrtle Beach Resort (Myrtle Beach). At a resort, remember that Clicktrip's terms leave the resort fee out of the rate. And across all 35, its listing named the room 0 times. When Agoda was cheapest it named the room at 264 of 380 hotels; Booking.com at 320 of 396; Vio.com at 99 of 538. A price with no room attached may be for the smallest or a non-refundable room, and you cannot tell from the listing.

These are before-tax prices from one moment in each snapshot, not completed bookings. Method and the CSVs are on our hotel price study.

Before you book a Clicktrip price, check four things

  • 1. The room. Open the listing and compare the room name and bed type with the room you would book on the hotel's own site.
  • 2. The all-in total. Compare the price after taxes and fees, in your own currency. Clicktrip's terms say resort, parking and similar fees are paid to the hotel at check-out, local tourist taxes are paid locally, and a transaction charge can be added for some cards outside the EU.
  • 3. The cancellation terms. Clicktrip's terms say bookings are final unless the room's cancellation policy allows otherwise, and the full amount is charged even if you do not go. A 16% saving on a non-refundable room is a bad trade if your plans might change. See whether free cancellation is worth it.
  • 4. Your points. Bookings through Clicktrip earn no hotel loyalty points, per its terms. At a chain hotel, compare against the chain's own member rate.

Underbook (built by us) is a free browser extension that does the first two for you while you shop. On a hotel page it shows other booking sites' prices for the same hotel and dates side by side, and says whether a cheaper listing names the same room or needs a check before you book. Clicktrip: common questions

Is Clicktrip legit?

Yes. Clicktrip is a hotel booking site founded in Denmark in 2021, and its Impressum names the company behind it: Fundamental Holiday A/S, with its registered address in Copenhagen and Danish tax number DK41903406. Its terms are governed by Danish law. Treat a low price as a lead to check: in our data its cheapest hotel listings never named the room.

Is Clicktrip cheaper than other booking sites?

Sometimes. In our price snapshots from September 22 to October 1, 2026 Clicktrip was the cheapest site at 27 hotels where some site was 5% or more below the going rate, typically 16% below, 17 of them in the US. Across 6,254 hotel prices in 348 cities that is a small share: most of the time another site was lower. At none of the 35 times it had the lowest price did its listing name the room.

Can I cancel a Clicktrip booking?

Only if the room you booked allows it. Clicktrip's terms say all bookings are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded unless the cancellation policy for that room says so, and that your card is charged the full amount even if you do not use the booking. Read the room's cancellation policy before you pay.

Does the Clicktrip price include all fees?

Not always. Clicktrip's terms say its rates do not include fees the hotel charges at check-out, such as resort, parking or energy fees, and that local taxes such as a tourist tax are paid at the hotel. They also say Clicktrip may add a transaction charge depending on where you are, your card brand or a corporate card; cards from EU countries are exempt.

Do I get hotel loyalty points if I book through Clicktrip?

No. Clicktrip's terms say bookings made through the site are not eligible for hotel reward or club programs. If you collect points with a hotel chain, compare Clicktrip's price with the chain's own member rate.

How do I compare a Clicktrip price with other sites?

Underbook is a free browser extension that shows every site's price for your hotel and dates side by side and says whether the cheaper listing names your room. You can also check a hotel on underbook.co without installing anything.
